Annual Cumberland Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 15th

The City of Cumberland hosted the Annual Cumberland Easter Egg Hunt!

Attendance this year was OUTSTANDING with a record amount of 76 children present!

This year we filled 400 eggs with candy and had 100 candy prizes for playing our newest eddition to our Easter Egg Hunt, yard games!

We had sack races, egg races, and giant bowling!

We also had 80 gifts present so that every child who participated in the Easter Egg Hunt would get to take something home with them at the end of the festivities.

We want to thank Julie Brown for making the most DELICIOUS cookies for everyone to enjoy!

We also would like to thank the Cumberland Telephone Company, Houghton State Bank, the Cumberland Community Boosters, and the 21st Century Cooperative for their generous donations to make this years’ Easter Egg Hunt the best one yet.

A huge thank you to the adults monitoring the yard games: Emily and Brad Smith, Patrice Thomsen, Ed Dillon, and Matt Thomsen.

And to our wonderful volunteers Misty Nelson and Virginia Coughlin for making the load a little lighter and dedicating their time to the Children of our Community!

Last, but certainly not least, we would like to thank the parents for bringing your children to the Easter Egg Hunt!
